This study invites Black psychologists and trainees across various professional levels and sectors to reflect on their journeys into the specific and niche field of Pediatric Psychology. Through this research, we aim to identify ways to support recruitment, retention, and promotion of the next generation of Black pediatric psychologists.  

Given disproportionate underrepresentation of Black professionals in the field of psychology, and in a time when research on marginalized populations is being prohibited and attacked, the need to document successful pathways to sustain involvement in this career is more important than ever before.
